On Saturday 28 June at 9 am the Metese Promenade will be inaugurated in Meta, a beautiful initiative to enhance the door of the Sorrentine Peninsula.

From this week until October (Saturdays in June and October, Thursdays in July, August, September) the Metese Walk will be a "fixed" and "free" appointment, dedicated to all tourists staying in the structures. accommodation of the Municipality.

The initiative was promoted by the Meta Tourism Association and the Pro Loco through a project presented to the Municipality and financed with the Tourist Tax.

The Metese Walk will unfold through a path that will allow guests to admire the most important churches, observe the artisan work of inlay and cribs, enter the courtyards of the most characteristic houses that enhance a particular local architecture, be enchanted by the beauty and history of the splendid Villa Giuseppina, taste the delicious local products from cheeses to baked goods, from desserts to limoncello.

The route includes 11 stages that will allow tourists, with the explanations of an International Guide, to touch the handicraft productions of Meta, admire the architecture and charm of the Old Town, taste some of our world-famous products.
